Bob Edwards, host of XM Public Radio’s flagship program, The Bob Edwards Show, and founding host of NPR’s Morning Edition, will be the keynote speaker at the 2006 SPJ Sunshine State Awards on Saturday, April 29.
Cocktails will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a cash bar and music by acclaimed Latin jazz pianist, arranger and composer Abel Pabon. The buffet dinner will start at 7:30 p.m., followed by the keynote remarks. Master of Ceremonies Phil Latzman, morning host, WLRN/Miami Herald News, will oversee the awards ceremony.
