Lloyd Brown, editorial page editor of the paper since 1993, retired after a newspaper investigating committee said plagiarism may have occurred in some editorials dating back to 1996, Editor & Publisher reports.
“I cannot continue to be an effective voice for the editorial board,” Brown told Times-Union publisher Carl Cannon.
