Herald Columnist Faces Contempt Charges

StaffNews

Long time Miami Herald columnist Ana Veciana-Suarez faces criminal contempt of court charges for failing to divulge that her father once spent time in prison for cocaine distribution.

Herald Executive Editor Tom Fiedler said any action affecting Veciana-Suarez’s writing duties would be “premature” at this point.
