Miami New Times Editor Jim Mullin, under fire from several directions, said he will leave his post next month.
He will be replaced by New Times Palm Beach-Broward Editor Chuck Strouse. Tony Ortega, editor of a New Times paper in Kansas, will replace Stouse.

Charlotte Roy, the Atlanta-based journalist and NABJ founding member tapped to head The New York Times Co.’s effort to start a black oriented weekly in Gainesville, has been untapped.
Instead, two long-time Gainesville Sun staffers have been appointed co-editors. Doris Chandler, the Sun‘s bussiness editor, and Rob Oglesby, a former managing editor who retired in 2001, will jointly run the paper that debuts this week.
