Congratulations to Greg Lovett, the recipient of the AP Florida Photo of the Year award.
Lovett won for his coverage of Hurricane Ivan and Hurricane Jeanne. Coming in second, was Jim Tiller of the Daytona Beach-News Journal, with a dramatic and beautiful picture shot in June of Venus crossing the sun. The judges for this year’s Photo of the Year award were the AP’s Miami administrative, editorial, photo and technical support staff.
