Rozel A. Lee, a Tampa Tribune sportswriter the last 10 years, was fired Feb. 2 for manipulalting a vote for a prep football award.
Lee admitted she ranked her favorite quarterback highest and his closest contender lowest on her ballot. “When you want a desired outcome, you are going to eliminate the closest opponent to that desired outcome,” Lee said.
