That, according to one source, is what Seymour Hersh, the legendary investigative journalist who brought you the My Lai massacre, is still up to at 67-years-old.
The latest result is the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.
“It’s really a lot easier than you think,” Tim Madigan, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, quotes Hersh. “You read before you write, and not many reporters do. If you do a lot of work, if you read a lot, you get stuff. People in public life who interface with reporters a lot, they like to talk to people who can tell them something they didn’t know.”
Madigan’s Mr. Hersh Goes To War is a good read about a journalism legend.
